UK Surface Engineering Industry – Present & Future
Tuesday 17 February 2015, Cranfield University.
Surface engineering has been recognized as an enabling technology which is capable of addressing some of the key issues faced by the manufacturing industry. The development, application and validation of surface engineering treatments are valuable tools in achieving differentiated products by allowing, at the same time, high materials performance and advanced designs.
There will be 12 talks by leading industry experts and the chance at the end for discussion. Registration will open at 09.30 am with coffee, starting at 10.00 am and the day will conclude at 17.00 pm. There will also be the opportunity to tour the Cranfield University laboratory.
