Watch it Made® Experience with Walton High School, June 2015

Year 7 students from Walton High School, Milton Keynes were at Cranfield University on 23 June with the Watch it Made® team learning about precision engineering and how to manufacture watch parts and assemble their own timepieces.

Following the workshop, the pupils enjoyed an afternoon at Hexagon Metrology, Milton Keynes learning about portable scanning equipment and component measuring. The pupils had the opportunity to scan their watches and faces (!) to generate a 3D image.

The Watch it Made® team would like to thank Hexagon Metrology for sponsoring this workshop and for co-ordinating the site visit.
