Watch it Made® Experience with Emerson Valley School, October 2015

Year 6 pupils from Emerson Valley School, Milton Keynes were at Cranfield University this month undertaking a watch making experience with the Watch it Made® team.

All of the pupils gained hands on experience using the UV printer, lathe, engraver and assembly rig to manufacture all of the various components of their personalised watch which they took home with them after the workshop.

Watch it Made® would like to welcome Amaan to the team, who will be helping out during the workshops. See the picture below where he is demonstrating the turning process using an apple peeler.

“I learned about engineering and some of the materials you use in machines”

“The best part of the day was assembling the watch”
