Precision Engineering Industrial Short Course, September 2014

The Centre delivered its annual Precision Engineering Industrial Short Course, 15-19 September 2014.

The course was held over five days and covered the basic principles and state-of-the-art concepts to increase the precision, accuracy and reliability of machine tools and products. Delegates also had the opportunity to have discussions with internationally recognised precision engineering experts.

Delegates that attended were from FANUC UK, Professional Instruments Company (USA), Aerotech Ltd, Hembrug Machine Tools (The Netherlands), CERN (Switzerland), Ideko (Spain) and NSK Ltd (Japan).

Guest lecturers were Richard May-Miller of Cranfield Precision and Hans Vermeulen of ASML, The Netherlands.
