Ms Junguo Zhao is being supervised by Dr Claudiu Giusca and by Dr Saurav Goel under the framework of EPSRC’s Centre for Doctoral Training in Ultra-Precision Engineering together with University of Cambridge.

Junguo was delighted to hear that she had won the award and was presented with a certificate and a cash prize of £300. Earlier, Junguo was also rewarded by Heidenhein Scholarship by EUSPEN for her paper submitted to the Proceedings of 18th EUSPEN International Conference.

Junguo said “I am so pleased to win the best research poster award for my work on probing the errors in a Precision Diamond Turning operation. Receiving this award is such an amazing honour and a fantastic memory of my life in Cranfield. I never thought I would win it.  Thank you very much for your support, help and encouragement.”

Well done Junguo!
